How to Register for Mid Winter Fire School Classes On-Line;

IMPORTANT: If you are picking more than 1 - 12 Hour class, be sure and pick all classes before hitting register, the system will take all 3-4 hour classes, that way you are not having duplicate registrations... Thanks

We recommend that one person from your department sits down and they enter the entire department’s registration request one person at a time. We track everything by Department, and not the individual. It is imperative that we have all the required information about your department for confirmation purposes and billing.

1. Log onto www.midwinter.rivertonfire.com
2. You can browse the web site and check out different items if you wish
3. Click on “Class Schedules and Registration”
4. From here you are presented with a list of class offerings
5. Simply click on the name of the class to get a synopsis of the topic and other information regarding that particular class
6. Other information including the level of the class, the time it is offered, and the remaining seats left are also presented to you.
7. If you wish to take a certain class, click the “Add” button that corresponds to that particular class.
8. As long as the class you have just chosen has an open seat and it does not conflict with any other classes you may have chosen, it will appear in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
9. Continue to mix, match, and create your class schedule. (Up to 24 hours of instruction)
10. Once you have picked all your classes simply click the “Register” Button.
11. You will be moved to another page were you will be asked to enter your Fire Department or Agency’s name.
12. If you are affiliated with a Wyoming County then look under that county to find your Department Name.
13. If you cannot find your department name anywhere in the list provided then scroll to the end of the list and click “OTHER”
14. Simply fill in all of the required information. Please remember to put in an e-mail address for ease of confirmation and billing.
15. If an e-mail address is listed we will send a confirmation to you with your class schedule in due time.
16. Class cost will be $150.00.00 for up to 12 hours of class time. The Safer Grant is Available for 2024 Fire School so all registrations for Wyoming Volunteers will be covered...

When registering for classes please go to the "Class Registration Schedule" and pick each class for one individual student. Simply push the add button on the desired classes that one wants to take until their class schedule is full. THEN push the "Register" button and proceed to the next screen that allows you to enter that particular student`s name and department information. By doing this the site will not allow you to OVER BOOK your class schedule and it will save you alot of time, than if you individualy select classes and then register them one at a time for a certain person.

Any cancellations received after January 1st 2024, will be charged a 25% cancellation fee.

Again the site was built so that you can pick and choose your class schedule and observe it in the upper right hand portion of the screen until you are satisfied with what you have chosen. Then click "Register" and add your name and department affiliation.
